I designed and made my own silkscreen to make this print. I use special ceramic inks designed to go through the kiln and mix them on the screen with my fingers so each piece is unique. My logo is printed on the back.
I use a plaited cord usually used for Pounamu to give it a special touch. I also sew the elastic felt pouches to keep them safe. A swing tag explains the handmade nature of this design.
I currently have the fern design available on a delicious black clay or on a bright porcelain white clay and am working on a kowhai design to accompany them.
